Join AZAD as a System Administrator and provide Azure System Administration and play a key role in application and service delivery in a primarily Windows Server environment in support of an IT Enterprise Technology Operations Services group within a regional energy utility located in Portland, Oregon. This individual will provide system administration that focuses on Azure/Cloud based configuration, and configuration management of the operating system, and applications that rely upon enterprise distributions of Windows Servers.
This is a 2 years plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment.
This position is 100% remote with the ability to work remotely based out of the states of Washington, Oregon, Idaho or Montana.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $55.00 – $65.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.
The Ideal Candidate Must Possess The Minimum Qualifications:
An associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
8 years of experience is required with an associate or bachelor’s degree in applicable fields.
10 years of experience is required with an associate or bachelor’s degree not in applicable fields or without a degree.
Experience must include direct work experience in information technology performing system administration.
Advanced computer skills and knowledge of automated data systems.
Knowledge of the Windows server operating system and basic network architecture.
Knowledge Of And Experience With The Following:
Managing Microsoft Azure identities and governance.
Deploying and managing Azure compute resources.
Monitoring and maintaining Azure resources.
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Microsoft IIS.
Ivanti Patch.
Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
Virtual Server technology using Hypervisor and Microsoft Virtual Server, or VMWare.
Microsoft Windows Clustering technology.
Working knowledge of software development life cycle processes including QA.
Knowledge of software build and deployment methods and practices.
Knowledge of principles governing network and firewalls deployments.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License is required.
Must be able to pass a federal criminal background and drug screening.
