The Director of Product Management – AP Automation will be a highly skilled senior leader to play a critical role in driving Fintech’s growth and product strategy for expansion outside of non-regulated invoice processing. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accounts payable automation with proven results delivering B2B SaaS solutions. This person should have a strong business acumen and a successful track record leading product teams and creating / executing product strategy.
Essential Functions
• As a Director of Data Product Management, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap across current and future products that aligns to the Fintech strategy.
• Provide leadership for product management throughout the product and release lifecycle by leveraging customer feedback and evaluating KPIs to prioritize and deliver products that drive aggressive growth.
• Develop a customer-first product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Strategically plan initiatives in the feature roadmap and lifecycle, from ideation to support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, rollout, and measure meaningful features.
• Oversee the product backlog and coordinate with other teams to deliver customer value.
• Conduct market research and engage with industry stakeholders to understand market trends, customer needs and competitive landscapes.
• Gather and analyze customer insights to drive product innovations collaborating closely with customers to understand specific requirements.
• Drive Go-to-market activities for successful product launches.
• This is a highly cross-functional role and will work closely with engineering, product, marketing, sales, account management, delivery, and client services teams.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Management or equivalent experience
• Related experience in accounts payable automation domain
• 8+ years of product management experience in the software tech industry
• Track record of experimenting and successfully launching products at scale
• Strong understanding of business fundamentals and ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
• Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining strategic alliances with industry partners and stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking skills with the ability to adapt to change and move quickly in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers, executives, and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to industry and customer sites as needed to gather insights and build relationships.
• Passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering exceptional products that exceed customer expectations.
• Prior experience in leading teams, people management and process improvement
