Description
We are on the lookout for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role involves providing technical support to end-users within our organization, resolving computer hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and providing user training. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to end-users through various channels such as phone, email, and in-person
Handle troubleshooting and resolution of computer hardware and software issues
Install, configure, and test computer systems, peripherals, and software applications
Perform routine maintenance on computer systems and networks
Update computer software and operating systems as per requirements
Document and track all support requests and resolutions meticulously
Assist in the development and maintenance of IT documentation and knowledge base
Provide training and guidance to end-users on computer systems and software
Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
Utilize Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, Backup Technologies, and Configuration Management skills in day-to-day tasks.
Requirements
Proficient in Cisco Technologies
Experience with Citrix Technologies
Familiarity with Database systems
Knowledge of Dell Technologies
Understanding of Backup Technologies
Ability to handle Configuration Management
Proven track record in Desktop Support Analyst role
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
Excellent customer service skills
Degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
