POSITION SUMMARY
The Presale Resource Planning Advisor performs the capacity forecasting function for back office operational teams specific to Presale. Reviews and trends key metrics such as receipts, inventory, membership, attainment, barrier time, productivity, at work/on production, attrition, volume mix, on-shore vs. off-shore and the respective staffing requirements. Reviews results with matrix partners on a monthly basis, providing strategic direction on how to best leverage the staff going forward, what their forecasted results are and provides recommendations on new hire needs, conversion skill needs and up-training needs. Understands the long term and short term plans for Presale, that maximize overall resource utilization across all available supply levers while ensuring best in class service levels.
This position is in-office aligned, which will require the flexibility to perform onsite 3 days per week at a designated Cigna facility.
Primary Functions
• Requires solution-based strategic thinking to enable the business to operate as lean as possible without sacrificing quality or risking metric results
• Manages relationships with key stakeholders both within our WFM organization and external
• Tracks and trends Presale operational metrics (receipts, production, overtime, inventory, etc.) to help drive business decisions
• Analyzes operational metrics to enhance forecasts and make recommendations
• Generate and review the short term capacity files with the Presale Supervisors and Managers to ensure assumptions are accurate and up to date
• Monitor and publish results to plan, identify gaps and lead remediation strategy with operations
• Assists Presale by creating “what if” scenarios that allows the business functions to make informed decisions by understanding the impacts miscellaneous assumptions will have to their inventory
• Generate and review the long term capacity files with the Presale supervisors and managers to ensure assumptions are accurate and up to date
• Communicate Presale inventory hot spots and remediation plans to Senior Leadership within Presale and other business partners
• Actively participate in regularly scheduled meetings
Key Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years relevant experience in resource/workforce planning, supply/demand planning, financial/budget planning, presale analysis, or related
• Keen ability to present data and proposals for diverse audiences in a clear and concise manner that facilitates clear and constructive dialog among matrix partners
• Proficiency utilizing MS Office software, specifically Excel
• Excellent communication (oral and written), presentation, and facilitation skills
• Acute attention to detail, sense of urgency to meet competing timelines/deadlines
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 76,500 – 127,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
