Job Summary
Supports a team of Capital Markets/Derivatives professionals in the structuring, pricing, execution, and servicing of a variety of interest rate derivative products.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Works directly with team of Capital Markets professionals to provide interest rate derivatives sales, trading, and operational support.
• Coordinates all aspects of a swap transaction “life cycle”
• Serves as a point of contact for various joint projects and transactions between various internal teams – bankers, relationship managers, traders, back-office operations, and others – to assist in managing hedging transactions.
• Collects and maintains data, processes payments, prepares reports, conducts research and provides project support as requested.
• Assists in ensuring trade confirmations, payments, and other materials are provided and executed adequately, to manage customer expectations, and adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Helps analyze market data, economic indicators, and financial news to understand and communicate market activity.
• Partners with lending, credit, loan operations, treasury, and other teams, to ensure the successful delivery and support of transactions.
• Prepares financial analyses. Assists with constructing regular market commentary and proposal materials for customers and internal business partners as requested.
• Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree with prior course work or focus/major in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum experience:
• Three (3) years of commercial or investment banking experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Analytical abilities and quantitative acumen
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities with strong attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment
• Knowledge of PC and job-related computer applications
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Experience in interest rate derivatives, foreign exchange, capital markets or commercial lending
• Knowledge of financial markets, particularly fixed income, foreign exchange, or commodities
• Interest in, or progress toward, a professional designation such as the CFA, FRM, or securities licensing
