Located 30 miles north of downtown Dallas, Omni PGA Frisco Resort is the largest resort currently in development in the country. Opening spring 2023, the resort will feature 500 guest rooms and suites, 10 four-bedroom ranch houses, three pools, including an adults-only rooftop infinity pool, a destination spa, Lounge by Top Golf, and over 127,000-square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. An expansive retail and entertainment district will feature dining, shopping and an outdoor stage set to be activated for concerts and outdoor programming. The Resort will become a leading destination for golf providing an unparalleled experience for those who are advanced players, new to the game, and everything in between. The resort will offer 46 holes of golf designed by Beau Welling and Gil Hanse, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, a lighted 10-hole short course, and a lighted two-acre putting green.
Job Description
Omni PGA Frisco is look for a Ideal Services and In Room Dining Manager to join our team. Omni Frisco PGA Resort will provide north Texas with 127,000 square feet of event space, 13 new food and beverage outlets, an extravagant spa and a full entertainment district. Featuring two championship 18-hole golf courses along with a third short course, we will provide incredible options for our guests and local community for dining, events, and entertainment.
The Ideal Services and In Room Dining Manager will ensuring our associates are trained and organized to serve our external and internal guests. Providing a flawless experience for our guests and a fantastic work environment for the team.
Responsibilities
Leadership Responsibilities:
• Responsible for payroll, recognition, discipline, Training, communication, labor management, and general management of the department.
• Able to motivate and impart a sense of comradery with the team and with sister departments.
• Directly responsible for the daily supervision of Ideal Services and In Room Dining.
General Responsibilities
• Actively participate in Room Service menu design in cooperation with the Culinary Team, Bar Manager and division managers.
• Oversee the Ideal Services Department, where all internal and external phone calls are received.
• Oversee the In Room Dining Department (room service), delivering meals and amenities to in-house guests.
• Ensure proper documentation and follow through for all guest requests, utilizing Synergy and internal communication methods.
• Handle all guest calls in a timely and proficient manner. If a guest issue is unable to be resolved in Ideal Services, connect the guest with the necessary department to resolve the issue.
• Create and maintain the schedule for Ideal Services and In Room Dining.
• Take the lead on new menus / promotions and projects, critical path, and implementation for Room Service employees/other involved departments.
• Produce reports and analysis of the outlet and present it in the monthly performance meetings including P&L, Forecast reports, GL analysis and daily labor and revenue reports.
• Lead the Room Service Outlet efficiently with regard to cost and expenses, constantly delivering the highest quality as well as driving high top line revenue and profit.
• Assist the Culinary Team with the planning of the amenities.
• Execute the distribution of the amenities
• Conduct monthly inventory of operating supplies and equipment together with the finance department.
• Responsible for all annual and quarter equipment inventories and corporate reports, also monitor on a daily/monthly basis all operating supplies, equipment and reduce shrink and waste successfully.
• Conduct all operational meetings such as daily briefings, monthly OST meetings, safety meetings, and effectively participate in all divisional meetings and management trainings.
• Prepare and review all departmental operations manual updates annually.
• This position would work closely with the Director of Front Office and Director of Outlets.
Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years’ in a similar Food & Beverage management role
• Front Desk or Guest Services experience a plus
• Ability to work independently, thrive under pressure in challenging circumstances and come up with proactive, rational solutions
• Ability to operate computer, Micros and office equipment
• Knowledge of Opera Property Management System a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and Micros system.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, AM, PM and overnight shifts.
