Sodexo School Services Division is seeking a Food Operations Manager 1 to support a stable account with East Haven School District located in CT. This position will assist with overseeing food operations for 8 schools serving approximately 3000 students. You will work along side the General Manager managing a Staff of 32 union employees.
The best qualified candidate will have previous experience managing a National School Lunch Account with full knowledge of USDA regulations. We are seeking candidates who have operated multi-feeding sites and have strong financial & analytical skills and quality food presentation skills. Qualified candidates must also possess strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain exceptional Client and Customer Relations.

• develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
• develop strategic plans;

Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement – Associate’s Degree or equivalent experienceBasic Management Experience – 2 years Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
