We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering to join a prestigious military and defense company. This leadership position is based in Geneva, OH.
Required Qualifications:
• Over 15 years of experience in technical engineering and management
• Comprehensive knowledge of the military industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SolidWorks, EPDM, and SAP
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of 20 professionals, including engineers, designers, and technicians
• Collaborate directly with vendors to support current and new programs
• Oversee the technical engineering teams throughout the full product lifecycle
• Work cross-functionally with project management, business development, production, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams
• Develop and review non-recurring engineering estimates
• Prepare and drive the annual operating plan budget for the Engineering department
• Conduct and oversee performance reviews for the engineering team
• Drive the execution of engineering projects, including the development, design, analysis, testing, and support of the manufacture and shipment of military HVAC systems for the PSS business unit
