Summary
The Numerical Control Analyst II translates product definition and/or process engineering information into a computerized form to produce complex programs for use on all types of Numerical Control (N/C) equipment or other equipment controlled by a programmable control unit. Performs project administration duties for N/C related projects.
Duties and Responsibilities
• With direction, may define and develop moderate programs and/or procedures written in a variety of programming languages for machining, inspection, or other manufacturing applications.
• Supports the development and maintenance of post-processor applications for supported Numerical Control equipment.
• Supports the maintenance of vericut simulation software.
• Provides support to numerical control equipment procurement through development, testing, and implementation
You Must Have
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related degree OR two additional years of direct work experience in N/C equipment programming.
• Minimum of four years of N/C programming experience on various types of N/C equipment and demonstrated ability to independently manage N/C assignments or projects.
• Ability to travel as determined by the needs of the business.
• Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
• United States Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations.
