This position is based in Plano, TX, with a hybrid mix of some in-office time and some remote work.
Who We’re Looking For
Toyota Financial Services (TFS) Data & Analytics (DnA) team is looking for a highly motivated person to fill a role as an Analyst, Enterprise Data Governance.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assist technical staff in the Data Management, Technology, and Information Security space with the analysis of risk and design of key controls to mitigate that risk across their systems, processes, and environments.
What you’ll be doing
• Policy and Standard reviews against industry requirements / standards
• Maturity Model Assessments on DnA Capabilities and Controls
• Establishing a Data Marketplace that is aligned with our Policies and Standards
• Own design, develop, and deliver data quality products and document best practices for data quality procedures for the enterprise and promote their adoption via data literacy campaigns.
• Own design, develop and deliver by collecting Metadata, Domain Discovery, and Profiling with industry best practices. promote their adoption via data literacy campaigns.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists and data analytics teams to support data-driven initiatives.
What You Bring
• Proven work experience in Data Governance
• Demonstrated experience in developing, researching or managing data quality issues
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing and delivering the collection of Metadata, Domain Discovery, and Profiling with industry best practices. promote their adoption via data literacy campaigns.
• Demonstrated experience in Capability Maturity or Business Process Management
• Demonstrated experience with Agile Project Management principles.
• Experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty.
• Ability to bridge business and technical concepts.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
Added bonus if you have
• Experience in Financial Services
• Experience with Informatica Tools (Cloud Data Governance, Quality or Marketplace)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher with a focus on Information Systems, Business, Risk Management, or other closely related discipline.
