SUMMARY: Provide weekly therapy sessions to youth in Family Respite program
Responsibilities
• Provides individual therapy to program youth, using the MTFC treatment model. This includes introducing new behavioral and coping skills and practicing these in sessions using strategic positive reinforcement and coaching interventions.
• Participates in the development of individual treatment plans for program youth.
• Attends weekly clinical team meetings.
• Provides record keeping and documentation for all clinical activities (case documentation).
• Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
• Master’s level in clinical field
• Experience with a behavioral approach to treating troubled youth preferred.
• Experience treating families, children, and adolescents.
• Experience with the administrative components of treatment (case documentation) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a treatment team.
• Ability to work cooperatively with Program Supervisor to implement child’s program; accept supervision well; be readily available for supervision; attend meetings; complete assigned paperwork.
Location: Bronx
Hourly: $28.00 Per Diem
