About the team
The Technology Business Partners own the relationship between the CIO organization and the Worldpay business teams and functional areas. We are a small, dedicated team with the aim of helping Worldpay colleagues navigate and understand Technology and what it offers.
What you will be doing
Your role will be to partner with teams across Worldpay and help them navigate and understand how technology can support and assist them. You will be a key stakeholder for multiple teams both outside and inside technology.
• Develop a deep knowledge of key business units and build positive relationships, both horizontally and vertically. Identify business capability roadmaps and priorities and ensure these match Technology
• Operational Excellence – owning and hosting review meetings across CIO reporting on performance of all teams and helping drive improvement, understanding blockers and helping remove those and improving cross team engagement and collaboration
• CIO Service Reviews for Worldpay Business:
• Reporting on Tech performance for specific business areas
• Understanding business requirements and passing into technology teams
• Bringing tech experts to advise and consult
• Escalation management – Key contact for senior Worldpay colleagues into Technology, own and drive resolution of issues
• Business engagement/ consultation – Ensure business value realization and optimization, from value plans through consultancy, business case development, financial awareness, managing expectations and identifying opportunities to add value
• IT Roadmap – help define and deliver the roadmap to all parts of Worldpay and ensure they understand where this may affect colleagues
• Navigation of Technology – understanding all of technology and how it all fits together is key to then support the colleagues outside of technology finding what they need quickly and efficiently
What you bring:
• Can command credibility at senior management level (divisional board level)
• Influencing skills and authority – able to deliver effectively through staff that do not report directly to the role.
• Excellent communications skills – written and verbal – can translate technical terms and concepts easily into business oriented language and vice verse.
• Strong empathetic approach to customer service – naturally builds trust and confidence from the start of the relationship.
• Commands respect and credibility with technical teams – without necessarily being deeply technical.
• Strong influencer through persuasion and logical argument
• Analytical and attentive to detail, but can also step back and appreciate the bigger picture.
• Decisive and action oriented.
• Good networker and relationship builder.
Added bonus if you have:
• Extensive knowledge of theoretical ITIL methodology and its practical application to Service Management.
• BRM certification
