• Job Summary
• Responsible for assisting to monitor and compile data surrounding performance and operational improvements in continually evolving quality programs within the emergency services. Supports departmental quality improvement initiatives and assists in operationalizing processes and strategies. Offers feedback and reevaluation of processes until successful. Responsible for conducting follow-up for ED patients and assuring public health reporting is completed in alignment with pre-established mandates and protocols. Works with educators and leaders utilizing common process improvement strategies to develop action plans to meet departmental and organizational goals. Maintains strict confidentiality of protected health information (PHI). Promotes cooperation and develops open communication with all internal and external stakeholders.

• Education
• Required: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Experience
• Required: Minimum 2 years experience working as an LPN
Preferred: Previous ED or high-volume department experience
• Skills
• Microsoft Office and typing proficiency
• Assists ED Leadership and ECAT Education Teams with development and maintenance of annual quality initiatives and associated policy and procedure for the Emergency Departments
• Demonstrates ability to obtain and use interpretation of clinically sound and current data, i.e., practice guidelines, clinical standards, information from relevant literature
• Proficiency and knowledge of electronic health records
• Licensure/Certification/Registration
• Required: Current Missouri State LPN License
