Our Team:
In 2023, US Money Market Funds (MMF) held $6.1 trillion in AUM and Non-US MMFs held an additional $1.2 trillion in AUM. This is a growing market given the increased rates environment and fund inflows have reached all time levels. As a result, we have seen higher demand for this data from clients and are creating a new dedicated global Money Markets team to address the opportunities in this space.
What’s the role?
As a Money Markets Content Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships across Money Market players to acquire content that enables our customers to make fast and thoughtful investment decisions. You would be responsible for building relationships with banks, pricing providers and/or exchanges, to improve our coverage and transparency of these markets.
We’ll Trust You To:
• Have good understanding about Money Markets and the issuance techniques
• Build strong relationships with banks, pricing providers and exchanges to acquire Money Market data
• Effectively collaborate with a variety of internal partners across Data, Engineering, and Sales on strategic product development and execution
• Communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to a varied audience including senior executives
• Use technology to solve problems and optimize current processes in areas such as data quality, data acquisition, and workflow automation alongside domain experts and technical account managers
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the Money Market workflows and how its data is used and consumed by our clients
• Expand and enhance content sources on the Bloomberg Terminal that help investors make decisions
• Negotiate with data providers to achieve scale and optimize the visibility of their content on our systems
• Work closely with internal business units to clearly define our clients’ data requirements and position our content offering to our users
You’ll Need to Have:
• 5+ years of experience in sales and relationship management within financial services
• Willingness and track record in building strong networks internally and externally, with an established network in the Money Markets landscape
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail as well as decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a distributed team environment
• Ability to negotiate in a market that isn’t highly regulated
We’d Love to See:
• Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese languages
• Familiarity with technical infrastructure re acquisition technology stacks
• Experience using data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikSense
