Leidos is seeking a Windows System Administrator with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our team in Suitland, MD. In this role, you will provide specialized Cyber Security and Information Technology (IT) support for IT resources and users, underpinning Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) analysis and production across the Farragut Technical Analysis Center at the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI).
As key member of the Systems Administration team, you will manage and support Specialized Mission IT Systems to include high-end workstations within a range of Windows and Macintosh (MAC) Information Technology (IT) assets. Additional equipment may include different exploitation systems and laboratory equipment such as microscopes, X-rays, network analyzers, schematic generation, electronics analysis, electrical modeling/simulation, 3D laser scanning, CAD modeling, graphics and video software, visual displays, and report production.

What Will You Do:
• Install, configure, administer, support and maintain Windows Mission Applications and associated hardware.
• Management of systems infrastructures, identifying and implementing best practices and recommending system functional specifications, configuration of physical and virtual systems, backup and recovery of IT infrastructure and implementing critical patches, reviewing systems performance logs to identify anomalies and troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate across IT domains and multiple teams (internal and external) and influence customer leadership regarding solution design, process and/or approaches to ensuring all Windows systems are up to date, working efficiently and ensure all mission requirements are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve trouble calls using Remedy AR System.
• Complete the implementation of all Mission asset Change Requests.
• Document and maintain complete system configuration and inventory of all Mission IT assets.
• Analyze systems and provide a white paper with written recommendations and specifications for the replacement of all system hardware prior to its planned end of life date.
• Repair, replace, and service desktop computers, laptops, and computer peripherals associated Farragut Specialized IT mission.
Basic Qualifications:
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience or a Master’s degree with 6+ years of related work experience. Additional years of experience, trainings, and certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+ CE) or higher, or the ability to obtain within 30 days from offer of acceptance.
• 3+ years of demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2003-2016), and Microsoft Active Directory to include: Windows migrations and active directory upgrades; Managing MS AD to include implementation of GPOs to support the implementation of STIG settings on file and print services, DNS, Domain Controllers and application servers and hardening Windows operating systems to STIG compliance.
• Experience in the implementation or utilization of SCCM.
• An understanding of principles of routing client/server programming and an understanding of business application technical support and design in an application development environment.
• Strong hands-on aptitude in performing administration functions such as installations and configurations, migrations, etc. to include excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Up to 10% travel may be required within the local DMV area.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Mac OS and related hardware.
• Experience with rack-mounted server hardware, physical networking, and peripherals.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 – $157,450.00
