About The Opportunity
Join, fabricate and repair metal and other welding material by applying appropriate welding techniques and operating various welding devices.
Starting wage is $18.00 + $1.00 shift differential with the opportunity to increase within the first year. Our benefit package is highly competitive and includes services such as: health, dental, vision plans and a 401K with company match. We also have holiday pay and vacation time!!
ORBIS is offering challenging and exciting career opportunities for Welders on 1st Shift in Greenville, SC. Overtime will be offered based on business needs. We are seeking qualified candidates that are focused on quality and safety. Qualified candidates must be able to perform all duties listed below safely and follow all company safety procedures.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
• Inspect completed welds to determine structural soundness.
• Start up and shut down machines properly.
• Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standards of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization.
• Troubleshoot, identify and correct machine/rack -related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine.
Work Experience
At least 6 months of welding experience
