Pitney Bowes is now hiring for Direct Hire Full Time Dispatch Associates in our Grove City, OH Facility.
3rd Shift, Monday through Friday 10pm-6am
You are:
You are a performance driven person who will ensure the quality of our service is being achieved. You are passionate about helping the company meet their mailing productivity standards
You will:
• Place finalized mail trays into designated larger containers for delivery to Post Office or delivery deeper into the Pitney Bowes network for further processing
• Ensure mail trays are labeled and routed correctly
• Ensure accurate and stable loading of pallets
• Prepare pallets with the correct placard labels
• Repetitive heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling pallets weighing over 600 lbs. utilizing a pallet jack
• Maintain organized storage of postal supplies
• Communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external customers regarding completion of assigned responsibilities
• Monitor mail tray conveyor and reports issues to a member of management
• Assist in the other departments as needed
• Promote a clean work area to prevent possible injuries and/or tripping hazards to self and others
Your background:
As a Pitney Bowes Dispatch Associate you have:
• The ability to work M-F 10pm-6am
• The ability to understand and follow safety and other operational directions in English, or translated from English, irrespective of your native language
• The ability to work overtime which may include weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or no advance notice
• The ability to be dependable and reliable
• Strong organization, customer service and verbal/written communication skills
Preferred:
• Prior fulfillment, warehouse or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of presort mailing business
• Forklift experience
Physical demands and abilities:
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., and push/pull 600 or more pounds utilizing a pallet jack with or without accommodations.
• The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
