The VP, Nipocalimab & Channel Strategy, reports into the President of Immunology. In this role the VP directs and coordinates critical processes related to business planning, marketing plans, portfolio management, market research, new product launches, business performance tracking, and multi-channel marketing. This VP will lead all sales and marketing strategies and activities for the Immunology Autoantibody business and the Channel Strategy team. The VP’s main goal is to elevate the sales and marketing teams to a high-performance, outcome-focused organization where diversity and inclusion are valued, and skills, knowledge, and abilities are continually evolving to meet future needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all marketing strategies and activities for the Immunology Autoantibody business and the Channel Strategy team.
• Co-lead global marketing strategy and life cycle management in partnership situations.
• Shape and guide holistic US and global Immunology business strategy as a member of the Commercial Leadership Team.
• Support the development of a US Immunology Business Unit vision, mission, and goals.
• Lead Integrated Business Plan and Long-Range Financial Plan activities resulting in comprehensive strategic plans across a diverse and complex portfolio.
• Drive sales strategy and excellence.
• Ensure successful business plan execution across the organization.
• Build a high-performing team by continually refining and improving the quality of talent within the Business Unit, to enhance the organization’s ability to meet today’s needs, while preparing for the future.
• Develop influential relationships with National Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and decision-makers within designated national customers, suppliers, distributors, academic centers of excellence, and manufacturers.
• Drive brand strategies to support the company vision.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in leadership roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong background in business planning, marketing, and sales strategy.
• Exceptional ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
• Demonstrated success in developing influential relationships with KOLs and industry leaders.
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving successful business plan execution.
Requirements:
• Required Minimum Education: BS/BA in related field (Autoantibody, GI, Rheum, or Derm). Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of related experience.
• Previous Sales and Marketing Experience
• Minimum of 5+ years people management experience and demonstrated strong people development skills
• Strong financial acumen
• Travel up to 30%
Preferred:
• Additional experience in at least one other relevant functional area (medical, business development, strategic marketing, etc.
• Immunology experience strongly preferred, additional brand experience in other specialty markets, DTC or Consumer, and experience marketing products in various cycles of the product lifecycle, are also desired
• Understanding of payer channels, understanding of end-to-end product development process through patent expiration, and past success in leading a field sales team/organization.
