Scripps College, a women’s liberal arts college with a strong interdisciplinary tradition, invites applications for a two-semester, non-tenure-track position of Visiting Assistant Professor in Art History. The teaching load is five courses: two courses will be European Modernism 1840-1940 (Tuesday/Thursday 9:35-10:50 a.m.) and a seminar on any topic in modern art history (Tuesday 2:45-5:30 p.m.), and three spring courses to be determined in consultation with the department chair and advise senior theses. Ph.D. and teaching experience required.

The salary for this position will range from $63,900 to $71,000 and will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
