As the VP of Wholesale, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and optimizing wholesale operations within our Company. You will lead a team responsible for negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and expanding distribution channels. Your strategic vision will be critical in shaping our wholesale business.Long DescriptionThis position is fully remote within any state in the US.The Main Responsibilities• Develop and execute wholesale sales strategies to mitigate risk, scale digital solutions, and maximize telco revenue.• Forecast financial and demand analysis, negotiation, pricing, and distribution recommendations• Represent and drive key product initiatives critical to the success of the business• Plan, lead, and direct all sales activities including account profiling, setting module and activity standards, timely and accurate forecasting, budgeting, and staffing• Lead and develop a high-performance team; by managing a team’s sales and revenue quota attainment, providing guidance and leadership to ensure success, and closing high-profile business directly• Establish executive level, long term relationships with carriers, partners, and industry stakeholders for future cross-sell and up-sell opportunities• Collaborates on overall tactical and strategic plans to secure new revenue, maintain and grow current revenue base, and achieve assigned revenue & sales objectives• Leverage strong business acumen in the areas of capitalizing on market trends, business case development, commercial negotiations, and managing key financial performance indicators for sale• Communicate effectively to executive leadership in both business and technology roles, and if needed the board of directorsWhat We Look For in a Candidate• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred.• 12+ years of relevant experience with 3-5 years of experience as a Vice President or Senior Director• Demonstrated sales management experience (at least 8 years) in technology, digital or telecommunications sales and sales leadership experience.• Experience in consultative sales techniques and account planning including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long-term account management strategies.• Proven track record in wholesale sales, preferably within telecom, of successfully building, training, motivating, and growing national sales teams to reach and exceed sales goals• In-depth knowledge of telecom industry (i.e., network, voice, digital services, etc.) trends, regulations, and competitive landscapeCompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee’s primary work location.
