POSITION OVERVIEW
The Vice President, Finance Chief Operations Officer will play a pivotal role in shaping our company’s strategic direction, operational efficiency, and technological advancement. This executive will be responsible for excellence in accounting operations and shared services, integrating financial management with cutting-edge technology and data analytics to streamline operations, drive profitability, and ensure competitive advantage in the market.
Responsibilities:
• Operational Excellence: Oversee and spearhead the optimization of business processes and operational capabilities across the accounting organization. Implement best practices that enhance efficiency and productivity, and ensure these processes are scalable and aligned with the overall business strategy.
• Technology and Process Innovation: Act as a partner to the Global Technology organization to oversee the adoption and implementation of new technology solutions that support business operations, enhance decision making and strengthen controls. Ensure that technology strategies and data management practices align with business goals, enhancing information systems and infrastructure. Support the Finance organization in the development of strategies around further adoption of AI and the adoption of GenAI.
• Data Strategy and Enablement: Work closely with Global Technology to develop a comprehensive Finance data strategy that supports enterprise-wide decision-making and performance monitoring. Ensure robust data governance and compliance practices are in place to maintain data integrity and security.
• Leadership and Team Development: Build and manage a high-performing team of accounting, operations, and other professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Provide strategic updates and insights to the board of directors and executive team. Ensure effective communication and relationships with business partners, and external vendors.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain rigorous compliance with financial and technological regulatory requirements. Develop strategies to mitigate risks related to finance, technology, and operations.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years in leadership roles related to finance, operations, and technology within a dynamically changing environment.
• Proven track record of developing a Finance data strategy, integrating technology and data analysis into business operations to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Demonstrated ability in leading diverse teams and large-scale projects.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at negotiating and influencing at an executive level.
• MBA or Master’s in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Certifications such as CPA, CFA, or PMP, with a strong technical background in IT systems and data analytics.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
