I love coming to work not only for the patients, but to be with the people that I get to work with. I work with the best team. They’re all a bunch of experts in their fields, and they’re caring and compassionate and quirky and I just, I love everybody. We’ve gotten to have some really fun activities as things started opening up before staff meetings. A few of the things were goat yoga and Halloween costumes and different dice games and different fun activities that we’ve gotten to do. But overall, I love collaborating with these people. I think the patient always wins when we put our heads together, and I’m grateful that Providence allows us to do this.

Under the direction of the Utilization Supervisor/ Manager, this position is responsible for the distribution, review, accurate and timely processing of SJHH patient referrals requested from providers.

Required qualifications:
• 1 year Experience in a hospital, health insurance company or medical office/clinic setting.
Preferred qualifications:
• Coursework/Training: College level classes, preferably in healthcare or related field.
• Associate’s Degree in Healthcare or related field.
• Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) upon hire.
• 1 year of experience in utilization management or case management with experience in medical terminology and coding.

About the Team
Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care.
