Job Description
Support person for Employee Health & Infection Prevention. To assist with answering phone,referring employees and medical personnel for testing, documenting vaccines, filing, schedulingfor fit testing, performing fit testing, swabbing as needed.
SHIFT AND SCHEDULE
M-F 8:00A – 5:00PESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS• Follows expected workflows and processes set up for the delivery of support toemployees, physicians, and department staff.• Demonstrates positive effective communication with employees, physicians andother healthcare team members, and professional communications skills.• Demonstrate professionalism including current AED’s and other competencies,following dress code policies, participation in new employee onboarding.• Performs all duties assigned by Employee Health (COVID swabbing, fit testing,chart processing)• Perform all duties in accordance with established Hospital Policies and Procedures• Additional administrative assistant duties as assignedEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE• High School diploma required.• Associate degree or higher preferred• Working knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office• Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary, as well asorganizational skills. Being bilingual is highly preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essentialresponsibility satisfactorily.
