• Provide speech therapy services for patients in a long-term acute care hospital setting.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to meet the needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and progress.
• Document all patient interactions and progress notes in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to professional standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a compassionate and patient-centered approach in all interactions.
• Wear designated navy blue scrubs during shifts.
