Job Title: Histology Technician
Job Specialty: Anatomic Pathology Technician
Job Duration: 12 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

License: None required
Certifications: National certification (or eligible) in Histology by ASCP or equivalent
Must-Have
• Associates degree in Applied Science or equivalent education and experience as defined by CLIA standards
• Experience in Embedding and Cutting Immunohistochemistry modalities
Job Description
• Responsible for preparing tissue samples for microscopic examination
• Utilize techniques including embedding and cutting of samples
• Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and standards
• Collaborate effectively with pathology staff
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and results
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including COVID, Booster, and Flu Vaccine requirements (medical exemption accepted only for Booster)
• Wear appropriate scrubs as per dress code
• Complete credentialing documentation by specified deadlines
