Responsibilities
Allan Myers is looking for a dedicated Telematics Administrator to join our Safety and Transportation team who is responsible for the daily management of all telematics systems and the ability to analyze solutions data to determine corrective actions needed in support of data quality expectations and reporting deliverable. Position will report to the Transportation Manager.
• Interface, monitor and track all telematics on fleet vehicles
• Identify and track assigned and unassigned cameras to all fleet vehicles.
• Determine unassigned and in use camera and those cameras that have not been utilized.
• Track assigned and unassigned beacons for all fleet vehicles.
• Track and maintain additional orders of fleet cameras and accessories for all regions.
• Identify and associate driver to vehicle activity and non-vehicle activity.
• Assist Dispatch Managers in updating and managing the driver telematics in the appropriate groups and subgroups.
• Manage and update the hierarchy structure within each region in the telematics software.
• Assist in managing the Performance Acknowledgement Program, providing data and generating reports to provide consistency in the application of the program.
• Identifying and reporting all server alerts and violations,
• Review all coaching reports. Identify those coaching reports not completed and cleaning up past coaching session that were not completed.
• Running and distributing daily/weekly/monthly reports related to Green Zone Scores, Violations/Alerts, monitoring of camera usage and non-usage and other telematic reports as assigned.
• Ensure all geofences are added and alter current geofences as necessary. Identify suppress alerts within geofences.
• Work closely with the Heavy Fleet Safety Specialist.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1-3 years’ project construction, fleet, transportation administration experience preferred.
• Experience with Telematics applications such as Netradyne, Lytx and Samsara is preferred.
• Understanding of basic telematics data integration principles
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite applications, smartphones, and tablets
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service and organizational skills are required
• Must be detail oriented, punctual, and work well within a team.
• The ability to work independently and with indirect oversight
