This position serves within the Office of Strategic Alliances (OSA), National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), defining translational research broadly to include early steps necessary to develop new therapeutics, devices and diagnostics from basic discoveries, the steps necessary to establish world efficacy and effectiveness.
