The GenAi org is a new and growing org. The team is currently managing two distinct products, ChatUWM and the GenAI Platform. As we continue to roll out ChatUWM and grow it into its eventual form, Jarvis, we need a team solely focused on that in order to build and support this vital application for the future of UWM.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Lead, inspire, and manage a high-performing AI team responsible for developing and enhancing generative AI models.
• Conduct day-to-day operations and project management, ensuring all team activities align with project goals and timelines.
• Be involved in the lifecycle of AI model development – from conceptualization, designing, training, and testing, to refinement and deployment.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with data science, engineering, and business teams to implement AI requirements and solutions.
• Monitor the performance and reliability of AI models, making necessary adjustments for optimal results.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in AI technology to help drive innovation and competitive advantage.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Required:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a relevant field.
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI’s GPT-3, or similar AI platforms, for development of generative AI models.
• Understanding of machine learning techniques, concepts, and AI model development.
• Proven track record in managing teams within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Preferred:
• In-depth experience in the fintech industry.
• Experience with cloud-deployed AI solutions like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex AI-related projects efficiently.
• Exceptional leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
