Leidos Health & Civil Sector is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Systems Administrator to join our team. This position directly supports programs which provide a broad array of information, resources, referrals, mental health coaching and specialized support for military members and their families worldwide. These programs are directly responsible for supporting military community quality of life issues.

The Systems Administrator:
• Customizes and configures system modules, workflows, forms, fields, business rules, UI policies, and other components to align with the organization’s processes and requirements.
• Manages user roles, permissions, and access controls to ensure that users have the appropriate level of access to system functionality and data.
• Designs and creates workflows to automate processes, approvals, notifications, and task assignments using the ServiceNow workflow engine.
• Integrates systems and applications using APIs, web services, and integration tools to ensure data consistency and efficient information exchange.
• Creates and manages custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide insights into service performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
• Manages data within the system platforms, including data imports, exports, cleanup, and data transformation to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues and incidents related to system platforms, ensuring that users experience minimal disruptions.
• Implements changes to system platform configuration using controlled change management processes to minimize risks and ensure platform stability.
• Provides support to end-users, helping them effectively use all system platforms and understand their capabilities.
• Plans and manages platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements to ensure that all system instances are up to date and aligned with the latest features. Implements security measures, data protection protocols, and compliance standards within all system platform environment to ensure data security and regulatory compliance.
Scope
• Analyzes system faults and troubleshoots and runs diagnostic tests on operating systems and hardware to detect problems.
• Provides Level 2 & 3 support to resolve system problems.
• Evaluates and installs developed software during various phases of testing. Prepares documentation for systems, tests and installation of software.
• Investigates and recommends methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
• Initiates preventive maintenance on the operating systems as well as repair to system/environment problems.
• Administers and/or oversees systems/environment solutions for multiple projects with varying schedules which are critical to the success of program.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Configures, manages, and maintains all system platforms including ServiceNow, Amazon Connect, LMS, and RMS.
• Responsible for maintaining the functionality and efficiency of one or more operating systems and applications.
Duties may include:
• Set up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software, validating and implementing critical system patches, and allocating mass storage space. Interact with users and evaluates vendor products.
• Supports installation and provides backup recovery.
• Support and performs system upgrades.
• Support system audit reviews and performs maintenance functions as required to ensure system health.
• Coordinate efforts with other work centers and personnel to resolve incidents or events related to systems and supporting infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in related technical discipline and 3-5 years of operating systems experience.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
• Experience with cloud technology, design, implementation, and remote management.
• Strong technical skills in server administration.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Viewed as a technical resource capable of handling moderately complex assignments.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Tier 3 security clearance. US Citizenship is required.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $68,900.00 – $124,550.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
