About the job
In the role of Sustainability Platform Analyst, you have a producing role and are an expert on how our customers’ needs are best built up in our platform. You work both close to the product and the customer, and there will be great development opportunities when you join the company at an early stage.
We work as a team and you will be an important part of continuing to develop our company together with our customers. As a Sustainability Platform Analyst, you will mainly:
• Together with a Sustainability Platform Manager/ Project Manager, analyze the customer’s need to collect sustainability data and transform this into a tailored IT solution in Position Green.
• Set up the platform based on our customers’ needs, which includes building measurement structures, visualizations and reports.
• Be an expert in our platform and run meetings with the customers linked to their setup.
• Work closely with colleagues in our USA office to enable growth across all of Position Green Group
• Be prepared to work with all existing tasks in an entrepreneurial and fast-growing company
• Be creative in your approach to solving complex challenges
• Follow existing internal processes while building replicable processes where they don’t exist
• Be able to work individually and collaboratively as a team
Your background and attitude
To succeed in this role, we believe that you are used to being responsible for your own projects and see the importance of your delivery meeting the customers’ needs. You are meticulous and have a deeper technical understanding as well as a great interest in working with digital products. You are skilled in pattern recognition and are a persevering problem solver. You have a degree (BSc minimum) within a relevant field such as technology, environmental studies or similar, along with knowledge and experience in one or more of these areas:
• Basic programming
• Excel skills (moderate to high)
• Calculations of greenhouse gas emissions and emission factors
• Sustainability reporting according to GRI, CDP, TCFD, and Science Based Targets
• Greenhouse Gas (GHG) – ability to calculate scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions in line with the GHG protocol
• Experience in consulting corporate, industrial, or other environment
• Experience with global operations is a plus
As a person, you have a positive attitude and we do believe that you are curious and have a good sense of humor. You are a doer with a sharp eye for details as well as truly understanding and delivering according to the customer’s needs. You are mindful in adapting to best position yourself and address challenges as they arise.
Planned start for the role is November 2024, or alternatively as agreed upon.

• Competitive compensation consisting of a fixed salary element as well as a generous commission with no cap. Expected base salary range for the fixed element will be $55 000 – $110 000 based on experience.

Location
This position can be based in either our New York or Houston offices. However, the right candidate can also work fully remotely but must be available on EST hours.
