Spherion Mid Ohio, in partnership with The JM Smucker Company, is seeking an organized and accurate Supply Quality Assurance Analyst. This is a 6-12 month contract position that will support the Smucker team in Orrville, Ohio. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a Fortune 500 organization. There may be opportunity for permanent hire for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, review, and properly store supplier data into Smucker information systems
• Manage the approved supplier process for documentation requirements and participate in qualification decisions
• Obtain compliance documentation from suppliers in order to review and file documents
• Communicate with suppliers via email and phone to facilitate connections in vendor management system
• Ensure accuracy of data, forms, and documentation
• Data entry
• Other projects as needed
Skills and Experience:
• Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, or R&D experience is preferred
• High level of organizational skills
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Highly detail oriented
• Accurate keyboarding skills
• Adaptable and flexible to changing business needs
• Self-motivated
• PCQI certification is preferred
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree is required
Pay:
$22/hour (approximately $45,760 annually)
Contract Length:
This position will begin as a 6 month contract role with possible extension up to 12 months and/or opportunity for permanent hire for the right candidate.
Schedule/Location:
This position is full time (40 hours/week), working Monday – Friday, approximately 8:00am-4:30pm. For the first several months, this position will work 100% onsite at the Smucker offices in Orrville, Ohio.
