Supply Planner
Adecco is now hiring for one of the largest health food and supplement companies, and this is your chance to work with them in the San Fernando Valley!
Responsibilities:
• Executes the Distribution Plan by creating and monitoring inventory transfers for multiple distribution centers to maintain the finished goods needed to support projected customer demand and allocation plans.
• Deploys inventory transfers utilizing various enterprise software suites, including Oracle JD Edwards (JDE®) and Kinaxis Rapid Response
• Validates cost-benefit for expedited shipments and executes accordingly.
• Identifies and resolves customer satisfaction, production, and logistics issues by detecting root causes and utilizing appropriate problem resolution / corrective action techniques.
• Recommends any needed forecast adjustments at the internal distribution center level within Kinaxis Rapid Response.
• Maintains a dynamic rolling production schedule for bulk and finished goods based on projected MRP requirements generated using Kinaxis Rapid Response.
• Provides finished good prioritization to manufacturing, packaging, and outside suppliers as necessary.
• Participates and supports new product commercialization, new market, and new channel development efforts by providing product expertise, knowledge, and information.
• Maintains a rough-cut capacity plan, including the resulting resource requirements and constraints, while making timely recommendations to Management for required adjustments to the needs of facilities, equipment, and labor to ensure the Company’s growth potential while yielding operational efficiency.
• Acts as the center of excellence for scheduling and capacity management across the entire company, including finite scheduling at operations facilities.
• Maintains the integrity of planning databases to ensure the accuracy of planning data and the accurate execution of planning strategy.
• Analyzes the end-to-end supply chain and executes the appropriate inventory strategy to deliver customer service while maximizing inventory and financial performance.
• Monitors and adjusts safety stock targets, lead-times, and reorders point planning configurations as necessary.
• Manages the balance of inventory levels at the distribution centers to prevent obsolescence.
• Manages product discontinuation and aged inventory to minimize obsolescence and scrap.

Requirements:
• BA/BS in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Logistics, or Operations is preferred.
• Requires 3-5 years in consumer goods supply chain. Experience with Master Production Scheduling, Distribution Planning, Data Analytics, Inventory Management, Forecasting, Manufacturing, or Logistics is preferred.
• Has a solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain core functions.
• Good understanding of business process flow related to retail replenishment.
• Strong computer skills, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, are preferred, and data mining and analysis skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem resolution and strategic thought.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Planning and Manufacturing Systems (Kinaxis Rapid Response experience preferred) and systems such as JDE.
• Competent practical knowledge and skills in master scheduling and inventory strategies.
• Sound understanding of Lean principles including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and drive continuous improvement efforts.

Shifts are available from Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
