The Supply Chain Strategist will be a key member responsible for partnering with the Supply Chain Strategy Leader in deploying the Supply Chain Strategy framework across the 12 GE Vernova businesses.
The Next Generation Supply Chain strategy is used to:
• Align Growth with customer needs.
• Focus on differentiated technology.
• Streamline product offerings.
• Network Optimization
• Align to customer and shareholder values and prioritizing Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
In this role, the strategist will partner with the Supply Chain Development Strategy Leader on cross-functional initiatives & collaborate across the GE Vernova Supply Chain on devising the Voice of Customer, which includes Market Opportunities, Key Technologies & Capabilities as differentiators, network optimization aligned with global demand. This role will lead the deployment of the Next Gen strategy across the businesses. This will include stakeholder interviews, facilitating workshops, kaizen events, longer term projects management.
It is expected that this will be a very dynamic role as the GE Vernova Supply Chain Development organization grows and develops. Success in this role depends on effective partnership and collaboration with cross-functional GE Vernova leadership (e.g., business development, strategy, product lines, commercial teams) to consolidate operational insights and considerations into key initiatives (based on Voice of Customer & Make vs Buy strategy).
What you’ll do
• Partner with GEV Supply Chain Strategy Leader on cross-functional initiatives & collaborate across the GE Vernova Supply Chain to deploy the Supply Chain strategy framework.
• Develop standard work for Voice of Customer, which includes Market Opportunities, Key Technologies & Capabilities as differentiators, and footprint aligned with global demand.
• Build and present business case to inform business supply chain decision making highlighting trade-offs such as: SIOP, capex, capacity, risk, efficiency, resiliency, flow, and sustainability by applying system optimization thinking.
• Project manage, as needed, to support business-level strategic projects and NGSC development.
• Create standard capability matrix that can be adopted across Global Supply Chain
• Develop and lead the process for identifying strategic sites for growth potential, capital allocation needs and financial benefits to GEV.
• Collaborate with the GE Vernova Marketing Team to ensure key market trends & insights are captured and incorporated into the Voice of Customer process.
• Create and improve the standard work and strategy framework of the supply chain development team through data collection and analysis and closed feedback loop with cross-functional business teams.
• Champion and integrate the GE Vernova Way and the Sustainability Framework into GEV Supply Chain Development standard practices.
What you’ll bring (Basic Qualifications)
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance or Business
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant Supply Chain, Lean, or Sourcing experience
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and working with and presenting to global stakeholders at senior level.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Excellent communication (oral/written) experience, working and influencing cross-culturally in large, matrixed organizations.

• Prior GE leadership program experience, such as OMLP, FMP, CAS

If contracted in the US:
The salary range for this position is $ 112,400.00 – $149,900 USD annually. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 15% variable incentive compensation.
