Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/SYSADMIN) in the MESSAGE CENTER (N31), OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (N3) of NCTAMS PACIFIC. This position is a DoD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 U.S.C. 1599f. Duties * You will serve as the N31 Command and Control Official Information Exchange (C2OIX) System Administrator assisting the Technical Director in a wide variety of system hardware management and software analysis. * You will analyze and manage system requirements and troubleshooting for the department. * You will maintain and update the C2OIX system to include installing security patches and ensure proper configuration in accordance with operation and security requirements. * You will assist the N31 Technical Director by providing detailed and concise training to all NCTAMS PAC personnel in relation to C2OIX. * You will maintain and update training documents with new features being added or removed. * You will ensure all training is in compliance with established directives. * You will supervise staff in the Pacific Messaging Center Division by providing general guidance and setting deadlines for subordinates. * You will perform a variety of functions supporting a wide range of System End-to-End Management issues. * You will demonstrate knowledge of customer service and customer support principles and standards. • Experience utilizing systems such as NetApp, Structured Query Language (SQL), VMware, vSphere Client, Radiant Mercury or similar system devices.
• Experience using configuration management methods and techniques for integrating information system components sufficient to install and maintain network software and hardware, optimize functionality of systems and diagnose and recover failed systems.
• Experience providing technical assistance and information to applicable personnel regarding issues ranging from operation performance to operation deficiencies.
