Summary:
This job is responsible for the oversight of the Concierge Services Representatives. The supervisor will be performing employee performance reviews, schedule coordination of full-time and PRN staff, and training and development. In addition, the Supervisor will participate in data analysis and will be part of the decision-making process for improving services and processes.
Responsibilities:
• Personnel Management: Perform quarterly PEAC evaluations. Coordinate schedule, PTO requests and coordinate holiday coverage. Interview applicants, make hiring recommendations and coordinate prescreening tests. Responsible for competency documentation. Optimize individual and team performance that is consistent with hospital values and expected behaviors. Clearly and effectively communicate in English and Spanish.
• Administrative: Develop and improve quality. Establish and facilitate strong work relationships with hospital departments. Prepare and present data. Assist with performance improvement, program management and assessment; assume managerial responsibilities as needed. Attend Leadership Meetings regularly and communicate appropriate information to staff and supervisor. Participate in financial oversight. Complete special projects for the department or hospital.
• Training: Instruct and train staff as to proper methods, professional ethics and procedures; coordinate training schedules for new hires and tenure staff, provide feedback to staff. Place special emphasis on customer service training.
• Special Projects: Incumbent will participate in various projects, as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned.
How You’ll Be Successful:
WORK EXPERIENCE
• At least 3 years Required.
• At least 3 years customer service Required.
• At least 5 years Preferred.
• At least 5 years customer service in a healthcare setting Preferred.
EDUCATION
• High school diploma or equivalent Required.
• Two-year Associate’s degree or equivalent experience Preferred.
