Traveling Superintendent of Construction

Job Description

General Contractor has immediate openings for a Traveling Superintendent/Supervisor on Warehouse/Trucking Terminal Projects nationwide. Oversee on-site construction activities while actively engaging in hands-on carpentry work. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, labor, and materials on the construction site. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project plans. Perform basic carpentry tasks as needed, including framing, installation/repairs, Misc. Metal work, finishing, and repairs. Collaborate with the project manager to ensure project goals are achieved within the specified timeline. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members. Implement and enforce safety protocols on the construction site, actively participating in safety initiatives. Provide on-site leadership, guidance, and support to the construction team.
