What You Will DoGannett Fleming is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mid-Level Stormwater Engineer to join our Northeast Roadway Water Resources Group. The successful candidate will have between 5 to 10 years of experience in stormwater engineering and will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to highway and rail clients throughout the tri-state area and New England.This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, allowing employees to work from both their homes and one of our offices in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Massachusetts.Responsibilities• Design highway drainage systems and Green Infrastructure/stormwater management basins.• Perform hydrologic watershed modeling.• Develop hydraulic models for bridge and culvert replacements.• Conduct bridge scour analyses and design scour countermeasures.• Develop construction plans.• Prepare environmental permit applications.Education | Experience:Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.• 5 to 10 years of experience in stormwater engineering.• Proficiency in MicroStation, StormCAD, PondPack, HEC-RAS, Excel, Word.• Direct experience completing projects with public sector/municipal agencies in the• Greater New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, or Massachusetts.• Experience securing permits from environmental agencies authorizing floodplain• impacts, wetland impacts, and erosion & sediment control designs.
