Job Description Summary
The Stock Clerk accepts, inspects, and unpacks incoming products. Packs and stores products and material in stock areas. Delivers products as requested, ensures products are in good condition, and keeps stock areas neat and clean.
Job Description
• Count materials and/or chemicals upon receipt or in support of other business processes.
• Receive material into the ERP System – Make receiving transactions in ERP and prepare the material for incoming inspection, if required.
• Ensure PO is structured so material can be properly received and appropriately routed. Be a good communicator and ask for assistance when necessary.
• Pull and Issue Material – Transact material from the ERP system and to a recipient.
• Train Users on Requests for Material – Show internal customers how to properly request material.
• Pull and transact material from inventory per the ERP generated report.
• Label / identify material upon receipt or in support of a kitting process within a kit.
• Work with staff and leadership to develop new inventory best practices.
• Must be organized and thoughtful.
Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of stocking/inventory supply.
Education
Graduation from high school or equivalent.
Experience
0-2 years of applicable experience are the minimum requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working in a stockroom.
Basic computer skills and exposure to Microsoft Office products
Experience with an MRP system.
Additional Job Description
Must be flexible with respect to work scheduling. We typically operate only during normal business hours.
