Summary
Responsible for washing dishes, glassware, silverware, cookware, kitchen equipment and return to proper areas. Cleans and sanitizes kitchen areas and equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Clean cookware and utensils and store inverted in appropriate areas.
• Collect cookware from cooking areas and stage according to specifications.
• Prepare dish area and maintain dish machine for operation (water levels, temperature, and cleanliness)
• Keep kitchen area clean by sweeping, lifting mats, mopping, dusting and cleaning equipment.
• Clean and sanitize Pastry Shop and other cookware areas.
• Setup breakdown area with racks, silver tubs, soap, sanitizer, storage racks and floor mats.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas.
• Maintain pars for cleaned kitchen equipment in kitchen, lines and outlets.
• Close-up dish room and pot washing areas to accepted standards.
• Familiar with the Casino and the outlets.
• Ability to understand and abide by Cache Creek Casino Resort policies and standards.
• Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
No experience needed. This position requires standing and regularly carrying and lifting 50 pounds.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
