As the Senior Workday System Configurator, you will work closely with the Workday services team, and report to the Senior Manager of HRIS. You’ll serve as a domain expert for Workday Talent Acquisition module, offering insights and recommendations for system improvements and enhancement opportunities and you will deliver high-quality, configured solutions.
This role will provide technical support, development, and ongoing maintenance of all aspects of the Workday Talent Acquisition module. This position will report to the Sr. Manager of HRIS and be responsible for business process configuration, report development, security configuration, and system functionality, and be a steward of our system and data
Responsibilities
• Responsible for defining and executing on technical requirements and specifications, designing enhancements, test plans, and establishing ongoing system maintenance operating rhythms
• Maintain system security in compliance with internal processes and controls and other regulatory requirements
• Mentor and support other team members in providing day-to-day support to users with systems-related inquiries and requests for support
• Collaborate with the Sr. BI Analyst in TA to create complex custom reports to meet business requirements
• Collaborate with Sr. Product Manager in TA to evaluate system needs and modify the system to meet changing business requirements; prepare formal configuration requirements documentation
• Partner with Sr. Product Manager and Process Lead in TA to test and deploy new functionalities and system enhancements
• Apply technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex TA systems issues
• Research processes and requirements to ensure the system is built in line with business needs and in compliance with audit requirements.
• Research and respond to escalated requests as appropriate
• Work closely with other subject matter experts to ensure data integrity, configurations, troubleshooting, testing of system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for improvement opportunities
• Establish appropriate auditing and monitoring of HR data to ensure accuracy
• Proactively stay up to date on trends and developments with TA systems and technologies; provide ideas and information regarding best practices and trends. Work to enhance the capability of self and team.
• Recommend technical solution accounting for priorities and trade-offs, and drive alignment among stakeholders
Qualifications
• 5+ year experience in Workday, including 3+ years configuring Workday Talent Acquisition
• High level of Expertise in the Workday environment. Must be able to hit the ground running on day 1 to support the Talent Acquisition team with complex Workday changes
• Experience building and maintaining calculated fields in Workday
• Advanced Workday Report Writing experience
• Studio Integrations experience
• Experience working in ticket/case management systems (e.g., JIRA)
• Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, with a high level of confidence
• Comfortable operating in fast-changing environments and creating clarity out of ambiguity
• Strong collaborator; can engage with partners and stakeholders at all levels
• Strong customer satisfaction orientation
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related business area is preferred
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Compensation Range For
WA applicants is $134,608.50-$188,451.90
