Position Summary: The Senior Manager of Data Analytics predominately uses a tech stack of Power BI, SQL, Visual Studio Code, Snowflake, and Excel to answer questions to data that is ETL’d from our ERP, CRM, and various internal and external data sources. This role leads a high-performing team that is highly visual to the organization’s executives and demands executive presence, emotional intelligence, and high levels of organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Interact with our executive team and business unit leaders to answer questions about the highest-priority business initiatives.
• Lead a team of analysts and be responsible for their skill growth and career growth.
• Prioritize and delegate work in an organized and timely manner.
• Take project ownership involving cross-functional colleagues working toward a common outcome or goal.
• Query and analyze data from a variety of data sources.
• Creation of SQL queries, tables, and views that optimize for performance.
• Creation of Tableau workbooks and visualization.
• Take proactive steps with business stakeholders on analysis-related projects.
• Work with IT to format data sets and Snowflake tables in a way that provides more flexibility in data analysis.
• Concise logical explanations for a variety of personas, from C-suite down to individual contributors.
• Regression modeling for A/B and multivariate analysis.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Experience and Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 8+ years of relevant analytical experience, with 3 to 4 in a senior-level analyst role.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Demonstrated experience in applying advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, regression analysis and/or A/B Testing, to solve complex business problems.
• Experience in Power BI or similar BI Tools.
• Previous work in a centralized analytics function working for all departments and all kinds of data.
• Expert in understanding data structure and how joins change the grain of a dataset.
• Strong knowledge of data management concepts, data modeling, and database technologies.
• Ability to translate business questions into analysis and insights providing recommendations to business leaders.
• Experience executing analytical initiatives aligned with organizational goals to drive business results.
• Capable of managing multiple work tasks and shifting focus between them to address the needs of diverse stakeholders without neglecting any responsibilities.
• Hold oneself accountable and responsible while being self-driven in accomplishing goals.
• Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulately.
• Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, and solve complex problems.
• Expert in Excel and proficient in all other Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, or Certifications:
• Master’s degree in an analytical field, or MBA.
• Experience with Python/R, SQL, UKG, Snowflake, Salesforce, NetSuite.
• Tableau certification or Power BI certification.
• Ability to use AI to optimize job performance.
Travel Requirements:
• Occasional overnight travel required

• Additional hours may be required (exempt positions).

• Normal office environment.
• Performs indoor work in a climate-controlled environment.
• Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
