Overview
The Sr. Financial Analyst is a key member and business partner within the Healthcare Analytics Solutions and Diagnostic Services finance team and will report to the Finance Manager – Healthcare Analytics Solutions and Diagnostic Services.
Responsibilities
The individual in this role will need to be very agile given the dynamic nature of the businesses and will assist the business partners with the following.
• Collaborate with centralized teams during the month end close and budget/ forecasting processes (FP&A, Corporate Accounting, etc.)
• Gain understanding of revenue and expense variances and articulate drivers to various levels of management
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (e.g. Product, Marketing, Commercial, HR, etc) to ensure smooth functioning of the business and development of new processes
• Month-End close and variance analysis
• Monthly functional Outlook development and weekly revenue analytics
• Assist in annual budgeting process as well as monthly financial forecasting
• Collaborating with functional leaders to support strategic initiatives
• Capital investment analysis
• Continually strive to improve existing processes and tools for analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Synthesize information from various sources to develop and create new dashboards and reporting tools to analyze business performance
• Identify issues/opportunities to improve performance (growth, productivity)
• Assist with accounting, billing and A/R collections
Qualifications
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum of three years relevant financial analysis experience
• Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Demonstrates a strong knowledge of operational and financial processes and practical application of financial and strategic analysis
• Strong Excel skills are desired
• Hands-on problem solver with great initiative
• Attention to detail
• Excellent follow-up ability
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
