Position Overview
Navistar has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst for our Lisle IL location!
The Sr Financial Analyst develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine past, present, and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, and operating forecasts. Comfortable presenting to Sr. Leadership.
Responsibilities
• Lead preparation for monthly financial, operational, and board reviews.
• Assist in ad hoc analysis & requests.
• Provide reporting to management and stakeholders and advise on strategic business decisions.
• Create and implement consistent financial and operational processes.
• Support planning and forecasting cycles, including Strategic Plan, Operating Plan, and monthly forecasts.
• Develop robust analysis and insights to facilitate and influence decision making processes.
• Manage / Lead special and Continuous Improvement projects with cross functional teams.
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2 years of finance experience
OR
• Master’s degree
• At least 1 year of finance experience
OR
• At least 5 years of finance experience
Additional Requirements
• Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
