Job Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Account Executive (Enterprise) who will manage one of our largest portfolios of merchant partners representing $50M to $100M in annual revenue. The Sr. Account Executive will be accountable for a superior level of service and strategic partnership driven by both revenue retention and expansion of Enterprise accounts. The Sr. Account Executive will bring a highly proficient level of performance marketing knowledge to developing strategic plans that fulfill both internal and client objectives, including achieving revenue and marketing goals.
Qualifications
• Must be able to forecast results, put together proposals and presentations, track results and understand trends, and analyze and present results
• Must show a proven understanding of key products
• Must have the ability to clearly articulate the value proposition, concepts, and capabilities or products
• Must have experience producing and delivering educated pitches on complex products, the ability to coordinate cross-functional resources to support a pitch QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS (Degree, Certifications, Years of Experience) Bachelor’s degree in related field
• At least 8-10 years of relevant strategic selling
Responsibilities

• Account Executive will bring a highly proficient level of performance marketing knowledge to developing strategic plans that fulfill both internal and client objectives, including achieving revenue and marketing goals
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive revenue growth within set of identified Enterprise merchant partners according to semi-annual targets while ensuring profitability of deals
• Hold regular in-person business reviews (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual) with each client
• Draw on input and experience of the company’s leadership as needed
• Lead customer strategy initiatives within your portfolio of merchants: ensure client satisfaction is regularly measured, issues are addressed, and the broader team is tasked with continual improvement
• Work with all levels of the organization as needed to drive client success during execution: Account Managers, Revenue Planning & Analysis, Executives, Marketing, Business Development, Business Intelligence, Member Services, Product, etc
• Coach and train Account Managers as necessary
• Represent the company at industry and company events/conferences
• As required, provide collections support to the Financial Analyst/Accounting Teams, and facilitate communication between Rakuten.com and clients about technical issues Review and understand key performance metrics for merchant partners, and communicate to the broader team
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
• History of fostering strategic relationships with key decision makers to generate additional revenue and enhance/advance relationships with partners
• Have expert ability to analyze and understand deal structures
Benefits
• At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base salary for this role will be between $121,392-$148,000.00
• Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location
• The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements
