Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Assist with the preparation of financial analysis reports and data.
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
• Assist with the annual audit process.
• Implement and monitor internal controls.
Skills:
• Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is required.
• Experience in the automotive parts and retail industry is highly beneficial.
• Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
