Key Responsibilities
Develop and nurture relationships with current and potential clients.
Identify and pursue new markets and leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
Effectively negotiate rates with the support of our leadership team.
Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new customers, delivering exceptional service.
Engage with existing customers to uncover new business prospects proactively.
Drive innovative solutions to successfully close deals, escalating as needed.
Collaborate with department managers to address customer needs and share market insights.
Meet and exceed performance metrics, including call quotas and sales goals.
Required Background
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in specialized transportation sales.
Proven track record in proactive sales approach and generating leads.
Proficiency in sales tools like ZoomInfo for prospect generation.
Strong time and territory management reporting skills.
Experience in delivering profitable growth and closing new business.
Knowledge of pricing logic and analysis, as well as national account management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with an owner-operator environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
