We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will facilitate the licensing process for clinicians by collaborating with state licensing boards, clinicians, client representatives, and internal teams, thereby ensuring compliance and supporting our clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Engage professionally with state licensing boards and clinicians to address licensing requirements and application updates.
• Serve as a liaison between medical boards and clinicians, providing guidance on licensure processes.
• Process clinician licensing applications and oversee all necessary enrollments to meet credentialing objectives.
• Request, verify, and manage documentation related to clinician credentials and certifications.
• Complete provider applications across multiple states as directed by team members.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with state boards to secure timely application approvals.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of licensing requirements for individual states, including compact state regulations and continuing education mandates.
• Contribute to the development of internal licensing processes and participate in departmental meetings.
Required Skills
• Prior experience (2-3 years) in the healthcare sector with administrative responsibilities related to provider state licensing.
• Familiarity with Medical and Nursing Licensing Boards is advantageous.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to independently manage multiple projects within established deadlines.
• Strong collaborative skills, enabling effective teamwork across various organizational levels.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to follow through on delegated tasks.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while handling extensive email correspondence.
Qualifications
• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in healthcare administration or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

Compensation And Benefits
• Salary: $100k annually
• Two (2) weeks paid time off (PTO)
• Six (6) paid holidays of your choosing per year

• Shift: Monday to Friday (9:00 am – 5:00 pm) – In Office Only
