Job Description
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer Specialists – Digital Banking in Jacksonville, FL to work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to gather and analyze business requirements that drive the analysis and design of technical solutions. Participate in the full systems life cycle including designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications. Participate in component and data architecture design, performance monitoring, product evaluation, and adoption of new technologies and frameworks to keep the application architecture modern and efficient. Maintain, test, and integrate different application components. Suggest technical ways/solutions to the team to maintain and enhance the performance of the application. Troubleshoot issues in production, security risks remediation, and mitigate the vulnerabilities reported by Veracode and Blackduck scans. Develop groovy scripts to maintain application CI/CD pipeline in Jenkins using Git, Containerization and Kubernetes. Develop, enhance, and maintain financial services software applications including e-Banking products. Develop software utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio, IntelliJ IDEA, SQL Developer, and DB Visualizer. Collaborate on development projects using Git and Jenkins. Work with database design technologies including Oracle and support software development lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing Scrum, Safe Agile, and waterfall methodologies. Design REST APIs using IFX model; Utilize Web Services, JQuery, JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML, XSLT, XPath, and HTML, J2EE, Java, JDK 1.11, Enterprise Java Beans, MDB, JBOSS server, Spring, Spring Boot, Eclipse, Core Metrics, Maven, OpenShift, Bitbucket, Hibernate and JPA. Ensure comprehensive documentation of code, architecture, and systems to facilitate easier handovers and collaboration among team members. Involved in code reviews, focusing on optimizing the code for performance, maintainability, and scalability. Refactor redundant code and automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy in the application development and maintenance processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: developing web applications and backend services using Angular, REST API, Java Script,
jQuery, Node.js, CSS, Bootstrap, HTML, Java, J2EE, EJB, Struts, Spring Framework, Hibernate and Swing; integrating with authentication using JWT, OAuth, and Azure Active Directory; working with development projects collaborated on DevOps CI/CD pipeline, GitHub, Jenkins, Git, Containerization and Kubernetes; and working with security scan tools including Veracode and Blackduck and performing remediation of the security vulnerabilities. In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master’s degree in the above listed fields and three (3) years of experience in the above listed skills.
