SAWDUST is a brand development agency looking for a skilled Social Media Manager and Strategist with at least 5 years of experience in marketing. Someone who is a conceptual content creator, can navigate all major social and email platform tools, is design-savvy, highly organized, and informed of digital trends and culture. This role is client facing and requires a person that has great communication skills and can manage SAWDUST and client expectations. This position is in-house in our studio.
Responsibilities
• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
• Implement social media strategy to align with business goals
• Set specific objectives and report on ROI
• Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily (e.g., original text, photos, videos, and news)
• Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, creative, and strategy, to ensure brand consistency
• Copywriting
• Create and oversee multiple social media accounts
• Create on-location trending content
• Maintain and schedule content
• Meet with clients
• Schedule and maintain eblast and campaigns via Mailchimp
• Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
• Create monthly analytics reports and analyze performance
• Paid Ad set-up and recommendations
Skills
• Proven work experience as a social media manager
• Hands-on experience in content management & creation
• Excellent management skills
• Proficient in utilizing editing video tools within TikTok and Instagram
• Ability to deliver creative content, concept ideas, and strategies
• Solid knowledge of social platform tools
• Knowledge of online marketing channels
• Familiarity with design and brand
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical and multitasking skills
• Proficient in Google Suite
• Knowledge of Meta Business Suite and Ads Manager, Google Business , Hootsuite, and Mailchimp
