SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE OF ROLE:
The incumbent will be accountable for making sure that the Digital Technology service delivery in the allocated country/site is effective and efficient. The incumbent is responsible for the management of the Site DT team and works alongside the Regional and Central Digital Technology teams to ensure that the business/mine site DT requirements are met within cost and quality benchmarks.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
General Accountabilities
• Accountable for team’s environmental obligations and performances.
• Conduct formal meetings with team and report any weaknesses in the environmental procedures.
• Investigate all environmental incidents in assigned work areas and prepare reports with recommendations for the Departmental Manager for onward submission to the Environmental Manager or his representative.
• Act on all employee complaints and suggestions.
• Accountable for compliance (SOX, License, Audit and Local Legislation)
• Accountable for enforcing cyber safety practices and adherence.
• Accountable for DT service delivery.
• DT budget forecasting and budget input.
• Promote positive relationship between stakeholders and conflict resolution.
Technical Accountabilities
• Leads Digital Technology Service Delivery Management for the entire site.
• Participates in Regional DT Leadership team planning for infrastructure and application roadmaps.
• Manages actualization of infrastructure and application roadmaps on the mine site.
• Improves the maturity of the DT team to enable the team achieve improved delivery.
• Leads a team of AGA employees and contractors in order to maintain and improve the operational effectiveness of all the site Digital Technology in accordance with agreed SLA.
• Report all IT/OT related metrics to the key business stakeholders on a periodic basis.
• Manages the site Digital Technology budget to ensure all Digital Technology services delivered are cost effective and to quality targets.
• Manage DT Risks at site level including site technology resilience and disaster recovery.
• Engages with business stakeholders to understand business perceptions of DT delivery as well as identify and implement opportunities to improve.
• Assist the DT Manager to identify and consolidate in-country demand management.
• Implements all IT, and some OT, changes and projects on site, e.g. virtual desktop solutions. Desktop collaboration solutions, reporting, cloud developments, application related improvements.
• Aligns all site ITIL processes to the group standards and measures site compliance.
• Implement the required IT/OT Alignment Initiatives.
• Ensures that teams are sufficiently staffed with the correct skill levels.
• Manage the provision of DT support the entire DT user-base.
• Provide IT governance support for the the mine and country office where applicable.
• Manage technology infrastructure i.e. servers, networks & applications including licensing.
• Co-ordinate the deployment of new technology systems.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Relevant degree/diploma in Engineering/IT/Digital Technology

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a full-time, exempt position in the Denver Office
COMPENSATION
$145,000-$160,000
